Tanzindia Assurance Co Ltd was launched on November 24, 2003, at Dar Es Salaam as Subsidiary of Kenindia Assurance Co Ltd, Nairobi, Kenya. As the biggest insurance company in East Africa, it was natural for Kenindia to start operations in Tanzania and leverage its tremendous goodwill in the region.
