Mkulazi Holding Company

Mkulazi Holding Company Limited (MHCL) was incorporated on 6th September 2016. MHCL is owned jointly by the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) and Prison Corporation Sole (PCS). The company’s shareholding structure is NSSF (96%) and PCS (4%).

The principal activity of the company is to produce quality sugar and related downstream products such as bio-ethanol, particle boards and pulp. The Company is implementing a sugar project at Mbigiri Estate located in Kilosa District Morogoro Region, and targeting to produce 50,000 MT of sugar per annum once fully operational.
