Our process
Hives are placed on baobab and acacia trees. When honey and beeswax is ready to be collected, farmers will temporarily smoke out the bees, remove the combs, and leave behind a small amount of wax to allow bees to rebuild their hive. The honey comb is placed in a bag, strained and squeezed to separate the honey from the beeswax. The honey is then stored in food-grade drums and transported to a collection centre. Then, we package the honey for commercial sales.
